Tokyo Bike Tours collects almost nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no payment forms. This page explains what little data exists and what happens to it.

What The Site Does Not Collect

The site does not sell personal data and has no customer accounts. There is no newsletter, no login and nowhere on the site to enter a card number or an address. When you browse the tour comparisons, from the cheapest city ride at $32.39 to the private e-bike options, you do so without creating any record of who you are.

Email You Send

The only channel is the contact address, info@tokyobiketours.org. Mail sent there is used only to reply to you. It is not added to a mailing list and is not shared with operators, platforms or anyone else. If you ask a question about a specific tour, such as Hidden Gems Ride, Bike or E-Bike, keep booking details out of the email: this site has no booking system to act on them anyway.

Standard Web Analytics And Server Logs

The site may use standard web analytics to count visits in aggregate: which pages are read, roughly how many people read them. It does not build profiles of individuals. Separately, the hosting provider keeps routine server logs, as essentially every website host does. These serve technical purposes such as keeping the site available.

What Happens When You Click Out

Every Check availability button opens the operator's own listing on a third-party booking platform. Once you leave this site, that platform sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy. The platform is where bookings and payments happen, so any personal data you give it, your name, card and contact details, is handled under its policy rather than this one. This site takes no part in that transaction beyond the referring link.

Your Data Rights

Because the site holds no accounts and sells no data, there is very little to request. If you want to ask about any personal data the site may hold about you, write to the contact address and the request will be handled from there. The analytics used count visits in aggregate only, and email is used solely to reply.

Changes

If this page changes, the current version replaces the old one here. The practical promises stay constant: no accounts, no sign-up, no payment form, no sale of personal data, and outgoing links to platforms with their own rules.
